Our houses are comprised of multi-use rooms that can cloud our personal energy alignment. Often we rearrange our spaces in the hopes of achieving the “perfect” feng shui balance.  But what exactly does that mean? Does the bed belong here or there? Is the doorway at an incorrect angle to other furnishings and windows?

This seminar is designed to teach participants the foundational philosophies of ba gua, feng shui, wu xing, and explore the relationship between yin and yang. We will uncover their ancient origins, psychological benefits, and modern-day implementations. From these teachings, we will feel empowered to create our own serene living environments by correctly adjusting the placement of our belongings. The term feng shui literally translates as "wind-water" in English. As we learn about the five basic principles of Feng Shui (wood, fire, earth, water, and metal) we will unlock the mysteries of how to achieve more well-balanced energy in our homes and bodies.

Led by an expert in the arts of energy flow, Min Dai, this interactive seminar will guide us through the process of achieving a perfectly balanced feng shui of the home. Designed to inform curiosity as well as future travel, we will learn how to harness the power of traditional energy forces and establish a more harmonious home environment for ourselves.

Born in China, Min Dai has eastern values and traditions built into her DNA. After 20 years of current affairs journalism at the BBC World Service, Min Dai embarked on a new career path: teaching Chinese. Passionate about promoting the Chinese language and the culture and custom of China, Min Dai has also worked as a co-author on the Lonely Planet China Guide, conducting on-the ground research in several provinces. Beyond her teaching, Min Dai has cultivated an interest in the traditional Chinese concepts of bagua, wuxing (five elements) and feng shui.

Interesting, but I was looking for more depth

A personable speaker but a little too introductory and slightly repetitive. I think it could be a very interesting presentation with a little more depth and more examples / case studies.
