Entertaining and educational tour of Cuzco. Michael is knowledgeable about his hometown and enjoys sharing with us.
Michael gave an excellent talk about the Inca construction in Cusco and about the sights in the main square. Unfortunately because of COVID, all businesses and sights in the square were closed so it was not as picturesque as it could have been. Michael was able to thoroughly answer everyone's questions.
I was in Cusco and Machu Pichu in July of 1951! I wanted to see and hear again the history. I enjoyed Michaels "conversation. with the covid lock down it did look much the same except in 1951 the people were dressed in their native dress . I wished we had gone into - or seen pictures of the main cathedral interior as I remember it was quite ornate. . there was a large inca fort at the edge of the city I remember and I wish that michael had taken us there.i am signed up for the inca trail and will sign up for Machu Pichu.
Loved this tour, Mike is a wonderful host with a lot of passion for his country and city! It was a great experience to visit it live and I also learned a lot about the history of the city and the Inca ingenuity. Already signed up and looking forward to Mike’s next session on the Inca trail!
Very good experience. We’ve been to Cuzco so we could relate to all that was said. Even better than the knowledge
and expertise shown was the happy accident of walking past a spot where we had a great dinner.
