Very interesting and well presented concise history of Sicily.
I was very grateful that you did not hurry her through the presentation as usually happens ….she was able to do a complete tour of the history for us. I am going to Sicily next spring on a special archeological tour so I was very interested in the overview.
I had no idea that Sicily had such an interesting history. It was very helpful to have it laid out with maps, dates etc of the impact on the art and architecture.
Very informative overview on Sicilian history
I was unable to attend this presentation in person and I would have had many questions to ask. If you like history and architecture, this one is for you. The story of Sicily and its many conquerors and influences and how they all combined to affect art, architecture, language, food, and the life of the people. It was a sweeping journey through time, with lovely photos and commentary. I recommend.
