Experience Florence with Context

Kate Bolton-Porciatti, is an exceptional lecturer whatever her topic. My husband and I listen to everything she presents, from Donatello's sculpture to Vivalid's music. Not only is she deeply knowledegeable, she has a wonderful voice.

Picasso did so much art in his lifetime that it is near impossible to present a survey of his life and work. But Dr. Lelik did this in a fast-moving but not superficial overview of his development and the life events that influenced him. It was the best of multiple Picasso events I have seen this year celebrating 50 years since his death. Dr Lelik is a great presenter, interesting and keeps up the pace.

Very informative even for people that have previously been there. Dr. Steer is a great presenter and explained many things in novel ways.

Dr. McKay presents an in-depth look at the man behind some of the major changes of the 16th century.

This seminar was beyond my expectations. I never read the Divine Comedy but felt that I 'should' read it. Now I want to read it and can't wait to buy the book at our local book store What an engaging lecturer! I came to the session late today and missed Dr. Luzzi's introduction, where he teaches, etc. But I was left so wanting more, to be one of his students wherever he was. Do sign him up for more lectures, perhaps a series which would last weeks of months!

Very informative. Dr. Luzzi was engaging and methodical in his instruction. Loved the use of Italian to enhance his presentation.

What can I say? As always, Finn's lectures are exceptional, well researched and beautifully presented. Finn has the ability to engage the audience while imparting the knowledge on each subject.

Tiago Nievo is an expert. He really knows his stuff and presents it with a passion that makes it interesting to all.

Tiago Neiva continued his two-part History of Portugal with a marvelous overview of Portuguese development, regression, and subsequent growth from the 18th century to the present. He covered an amazing amount of information in a concise and focused way. Excellent presentation!

Tiago Neiva was knowledgeable and interesting. He gave a well-rounded explanation of the political events that shaped Portugal’s history from 1640 to independence.

Good information as I have come to expect from Dr Madden’s courses.

I am a great fan of Alan Montgomery. I come away from his lectures with a knowledge of history, castles and why they were important and their later use. I love his talks
