from 18811 reviewsI always learn so much from Livia & this talk was no exception. Always well presented and full of informative
Ms. Carbery did an excellent job of mixing facts of the Irish fight for Independence with anecdotes about the people involved. I especially liked that she mentioned the contribution of many women.
Dr. Steer used videos and engaging comments on the artwork of Venetian painting. She is well researched and accessible.

A lovely tour of the little Cotswold villages. Packed with useful touring information.
Even if you've visited Versailles in the past, as we have, Ms. Laville's presentation allows you to see the building and grounds in a different, and fascinating light.
I learned so much about the history of Cybele to Magna Mater. I'm writing a historical novel about the era of 1st c. BCE. It was helpful to see the links between many historical and mythological figures. Delightful presenter!
This was a very information and interesting presentation. Tiago's style is so engaging and his love for Lisbon infectious. I appreciated Tiago's organization of information - outline, visuals (photos, city maps. The flow of the presentation was excellent - a lot of information to share in a short amount of time but so well-organized that it was easy to follow. I enjoyed learning about the influence of geography and history on the "spirit" of the Lisbon neighborhoods discussed. Excellent!

As always Tiago is passionate about the topics hepresents. I have heard many of his courses. Highly recommend to anyway with interest in general history in the areas of his topics.
Dr. Dimo was an excellent presenter. I enjoyed seeing the archaeological sites as well as hearing/seeing the history of the different time periods.
I have been to Rome several times, but after hearing his lecture, I'm ready to go again and hopefully get a tour with Context Travel!
My husband and I will be traveling to Portugal in October, and I've started to read travel books on Lisbon and Porto. Lisbon seems like a complicated city with the 7 hills and so much history that I'm getting confused with planning what to see and what to do while we are there. Tiago Neiva was an excellent guide with so much information to share, that I now have a better feel for how to navigate such historic and interesting city.
I enjoyed Danielle’s session of Elena Ferrante’s Naples as she covers so much material in a straightforward easy to understand manner. The back stories she tells give another layer of understanding to these fascinating novels and this fascinating city.
Tiago's presentation is exactly what I was hoping for: he does an overview of the history of the city so that we can understand the current city, and then walks us through the neighborhoods with an intriguing slide show. The time flies by and I would have listened for another hour!
