from 21490 reviewsThis is a very detailed and highly recommended presentation for anyone interested in what was involved on that day. Using maps, many photos and strong topographical information, Mr Wilson told the history in a factual and touching manner. The planning and execution on that day was phenomenal. All of his presentations are recommended highly!
I found The Final Flight of Amelia Earhart with James-Grant Peterkin was very informative and well presented. He covered all aspects of the Amelia Earhart story, from her early life to her introduction to flying all the way through her final flight, the search, the different theories and her important impact on women's flying. The material was very clearly explained, especially the reason she missed Howland Island. James knew is subject and presented it well. I learned a number of new things.

That is one of the reasons why I love Context: to learn surprising, inspiring stories!
Very interesting talk, maps, and photos. My husband and I have been to the Normandy beaches, but we felt we learned so much more through this presentation than we had ever known before.
A very interesting presentation about Japanese art during the war periods.
Excellent review of all things Delphian. An extra bonus was the minitour of the museum at Delphi. Very interesting and informative!
Dr. Campbell is an articulate and clear speaker. The visuals, slides and text, were relevant and of good quality. He introduced himself personally and professionally, including his credentials... He explained the topic and the organization of his program. He followed the announced program organization in a timely manner. The program provided for Q&A periods and opportunities for interaction. It was clear that he welcomed any insights of audience members. I have already registered for his 3 part program on The Opening of Japan. Thank you Dr. Campbell

Dr. Wieda presented another fabulous presentation! I have been fascinated with her knowledge of the Black Sea areas and the Amazonian myths turn out to be highly accurate. She presented factual information alongside the age old stories showing us how advanced their culture was in terms of women's role. It was very interesting. Any of her classes are always wonderful.

This was a historical and archaeological "walk" through some of the oldest and most interesting parts of Rome. The speaker was wonderful. I highly recommend it.
As usual, Finn addressed a complex, troubling topic with sensitivity and humanity. He combines scholarship with memorable illustrations and broad themes with individual details. This was a fascinating window into an important aspect of the era. His suggestions for further reading and viewing are always welcome, and I have followed up on some of them in his other seminars.
Just wonderful & learned so much ch
