Barcelona is considered the most European city in Spain. It has been the capital of a nation of Mediterranean merchants and its personality has been gradually enriched with the settlement of diverse civilizations that have bequeathed a rich heritage and open mentality to the Barcelonians. Our interactive conversation has been designed to provide an overview of the city’s top highlights but also popular neighborhoods for local residents. The city offers travelers so much to explore: history, gastronomy, architecture, beaches, plus local treasures we can only find with the help of an expert.

Our local expert will provide an introduction to more than ten must-see monuments and to-dos -including practical tips about getting around, visiting the main monuments, key museums, splendid panoramas, artisan’s areas, apart from plazas and hidden alleys- as well as some of Guille’s favorite cafés, restaurants, and pastry shops. Our discussion will also include pointers as to how to efficiently navigate the city. We'll provide strategies for visiting the major sites and avoid the most crowded places.
For those participants who plan to enjoy a longer stay in the city, our expert will provide a few suggestions for outstanding day trips. He’ll offer some recommendations for itineraries based on the time available, from a half-day visit to a 5-day trip or more. At the presentation's conclusion, he will be delighted to answer any cultural, historical, or practical questions.
Led by the expert local licensed guide and cultural communicator, Guille Genestar, this interactive conversation is designed to introduce more than ten of the city’s top monuments, museums, and experiences for first-time visitors or those who may not have been to Barcelona for a while. Aimed to inform curiosity as well as future travels, participants will come away with an increased interest in visiting (or revisiting) this amazing city.

Wonderful experience

Haven't been to Spain yet and sadly probably won't be going in the future. So delighted to finally see Barcelona. Might not be quite the same as in person, but definitely did not have to deal with the thousands of tourists.
