This was truly a remarkable seminar because in order for us to understand the significance of the 'rediscovery' of St. Peter's Tomb she had to take us back to 64AD. Her method of intertwining history and archeology worked so well and resulted in an absolutely fascinating seminar. I really appreciate her ability to contextualize archeology so that it comes to life. The seminar was extremely well organized and the visuals were terrific.
As with my past seminars with livia Galante, was totally enthralled with her information, photos, diagrams, research, tips, and humor throughout the presentation. The story of the discovery of the probable site of St Peter's bones was so interesting. The archeology was so interesting. Very informative seminar!
Livia presented this talk with her usual infectious enthusiasm and wealth of knowledge. Her talks are always well worth attending.
This archeological narrative tells the fascinating historical and religious story of St. Peter's Tomb in Rome. Looking at mosaics, layers of architecture, and the social function of tombs., Livia Galante created an absorbing, even exciting, underground story!
Livia was excellent! We learned a great deal. Her presentation was fascinating.
