KGB became one of the world’s largest foreign intelligence services. During this seminar, we will talk about the history of this organization and how it was changing with the new leaders in the country.
Led by historian Vadim Malinovsky this seminar will give a deep dive into the history of the Soviet secret police. Designed to inform curiosity as well as future travels, participants will come away with an increased understanding of the background of nowadays Russian elite group represented by high-ranked secret police officers.
Vadim is a historian (MA) who has graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University. His focus is contemporary Russian history. He is working on a PhD dissertation on Stalin's national policy.

I was shocked at the bloody history of the wonderful Russian people and I will have to watch this one again as spying is a very scary way to have a life!
