According to the Guinness Book of Records, Prague Castle is the largest ancient castle complex in the world. During our interactive virtual walking tour participants will enjoy 360º views of its 70,000 square meters (750,000 square feet) of splendid gardens, vineyards, and more. Together we will examine a narrative timeline of the moments of history this UNESCO World Heritage Site has borne witness to – starting from its construction in 870 CE. This camera-led virtual tour will use high-definition broadcasting, image stabilization, and wind-proof audio technology to ensure participants the best possible immersive experience.

Beginning from the heart of the castle's complex, we'll visit the iconic Cathedral of St. Vitus and the Old Royal Palace's exterior. Next, we will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the city from the vineyards which span Castle Hill and discuss the major characters who've contributed to the design and upkeep of the castle over the centuries.

The gothic Cathedral of St. Vitus was designed in the 14th century – when Prague became the capital of the Holy Roman Empire – and still houses many original sculptures, mural paintings, and mosaics for guests to marvel at. The Old Royal Palace was built in multiple stages from the medieval to the contemporary period and thus offers its visitors an incomparable view of the city’s architectural evolution across time.

Led by an expert on the history of art and architecture, PhDr. Katerina Prusova, Ph.D., this interactive conversation will transport participants into awe-inspiring vistas – without the crowds or the jetlag. Designed to inform curiosity as well as future travels, participants will come away with an increased understanding of Prague’s most iconic landmarks and valuable tips and tricks to make the most of their future travels to the Czech Republic.
