Oia is the most famous of the villages on the island. Known for its whitewashed houses clinging to the black volcanic rock cliffs, Oia is also well-loved by sunset seekers. In the busy season, crowds flock to the Castle of Agios Nikolaos to watch the nightly event. Our expert will take you to the most acclaimed spots of the village, the Blue Domes, and to the side streets blooming with bougainvillea.
As we wander the streets of Oia, we will have the chance to admire the Cycladic architecture of the village, the cave houses, and the Captain's houses, and learn about the history of the village and of the island.

Loved the format of the live tour - this was my first one and I plan to sign up for many more! Nicoletta was a lovely guide and provided a great tour and lots of interesting tidbits of history and great spots to visit in Oia! I have visited before and it was fun to revisit a lot of places I remember!
It was surreal to walk around Santorini and watch the sun go down live! I actually watched it at sundown time where I live, which made it more magical. Nicoletta shared a wealth of information and showed us beautiful scenes of a place about which I knew very little. I thoroughly enjoyed it. To experience live an enchanting moment in a faraway place was truly marvelous.
Even with a couple of technical glitches it was a glorious wander around Oia ending with a beautiful sunset.
