The lecture on the late Louis Kahn by Dr. Hirsh was marvelous. I am familiar with Kahn's work and have toured the Salk Institute but Hirsh fleshed out his oeuvre by showing us photos of a variety of his works and addressing his preferred design elements. Now I feel much better prepared to dig further into his work. Fascinating lecture.
Jennie Hirsch has such a wonderful style of communicating while delivering so much information. Sh in fact inspired me to go to New Haven to visit two of Kahn's buildings that I was not familiar with. I will also visit Kroon Hall at Yale University.

Wow! I came away from this seminar having learned so much on this architect! Dr. Hirsh really made his works come alive through excellent visuals and concise, clear explanations. While I was familiar with some of Louis Kahn's projects, I loved learning more details about his residential projects, and his life in general. I look forward to attending other seminars led by Jennie Hirsh and learning even more about modern architecture.
