Can't make this time? A video recording will be sent to all participants after the seminar.

Broadcasting live from the spectacular Keukenhof Gardens, Dr. Alette Fleisher guides us through the world's largest flower garden. Together we will take a closer look at the tender colors of the daffodils and emperor’s crowns, the stunning colors of hyacinths, and the countless colors and shapes of the tulips. During a typical season, this festival of flowers attracts nearly one million visitors in just eight weeks.
Together we will stroll through several of the most popular fields and enjoy a quick glance at the Keukenhof Castle. Keukenhof translates to "kitchen garden," though the 15th-century grounds in fact pre-date the castle by a couple of hundred years. The use of the garden as a showground for bulbous flowers started in 1950, an initiative of Holland’s bulb growers.
Led by an expert on garden and landscape history, Dr. Alette Fleischer, this interactive seminar will show you the wonderful flowers of Spring, as we stroll through the Keukenhof Tulip Garden. Designed to inform curiosity as well as future travels, participants will come away with an increased appreciation for Holland’s floral traditions – and a longing to experience the gardens in person.

We would love to welcome you on a Private Tour with Context. More information is available here.

Alette’s virtual tour was inspiring! I felt as if I had actually strolled through the gorgeous, sumptuous beds of tulips, daffodils, magnolias and others in almost full bloom and those in budding stage. Alette brought together her love of the gardens and their history. Loved it!
