Andrés has spent more than 14 years in Paris honing his culinary skills and knowledge. Starting in 2008 at the famous FERRANDI, L'école de cuisine et hôtelière, he learned the hard way the fine art of pastry and cuisine, apprenticing in noted Michelin-starred restaurants. Inspired by French cuisine, he then had the opportunity to study alongside European champion chef Olivier Boudot to discover the secrets of French bread-making at the international Cordon Bleu school. Discovering a more epicurean penchant, he then left to study for the globally recognized Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 3 qualification, the French Wine Scholar, and the Champagne Master-Level program with the highest honors at the French Scholar Guild. He's also a Certified Wine Educator from the Society of Wine Educators. Now, armed with both the skills of a sommelier and culinary nous, he is bringing the disciplines together as a food and wine editor, leading bespoke, fun, relaxed, ‘under the skin of the city' tours around Paris's independent delicatessens & vintners. He co-founded his secret cellar cheese & wine experience at www.wetasteparis.com. Join him in sharing his passion for the traditions, methods & history of arguably the finest cuisine and wine in the world.

I loved the passion and in-depth knowledge that Andres brought to this (true) Masterclass. Even though I already knew a lot about French wine, I really appreciated his professional take on the subject and learned SO much.
Also - What I really appreciated about Andres' unique style is that he gave specific recommendations for great producers to try and best value for money grapes/bottles.
He also helped me understand why I had a hate/love relationship with Champagne - Turns out I need to ask for Blanc des Blancs only :)
HIGHLY Recommend this Masterclass - Especially if you are easily bored, as Andres will keep you on your toes and entertained - Merci!
I really enjoyed this class. Andres covered all the basics plus great specific information on 5 wine regions of France. I learned a lot. I’d love a more in depth, multi session class, as the subject deserves more than can fit in 90 minutes.
Very informative. Lots of tips and suggestions.
