Jennifer is a very good cooking teacher who animates her classes with fascinating history of the dish and its ingredients. I overcame my fear of working with phyllo dough under her tutelage.
Jennifer started with a great tale of the history of foods layered with pastry. The instructions were clear, however it was necessary to prep your ingredients ahead of time to fully enjoy and keep up. Questions were answered fully and with great insight. The "proof is in the pudding" as the saying goes and this is a very tasty pie!!

Excellent and organized presentation. I enjoyed learning the historical aspects and the recipe is great!
Jennifer is an absolute pro and fully understands what makes a complete cooking class experience. She warmly share how her personal family background laid the foundation for her passion about food, and she traced the history of this dish and it’s ingredients so that we student cooks could also infuse our preparation with historical and familial meaning. The pacing was great and the methods were clearly displayed. Her informed expertise and ability to connect with her audience lived up to the high bar that Context sets for its courses!
