This was another wonderful presentation by Kate Bolton-Porciatti. It covered the spectacular natural beauty of Sardinia, plus unique archeological ruins, and the traditional culture of rural Sardinia, including religious festivals, choral music and chanting, cuisine and special clothing. The diverse program mixed maps, photos, videos and personal videos of Kate leading us through Sardinia. All this plus wild horses too! Since the group was extremely small, I enjoyed a real “chat” with Kate at the end, instead of the usual written Q & A.
Kate Bolton-Porciatti combines scenery, maps, videos, audios and quotes from authors as she takes us on a virtual tour of Sardinia. Facts are not dry but fascinating as presented by Ms. Bolton-Porciatti.
She frequently brings the map of the island with the route she's taking back to the screen so we know where we are and where we are headed. The videos including unusual singing and chanting truly brought the island to life.

I've always been curious about Sardinia and Kate Bolton-Porciatti gave a lovely seminar where she shows the different regions -- not just the coastal areas. The mountain regions are gorgeous and she shares some of the festivals and ancient singing traditions. Just lovely!
Of all the wonderful Context seminars we've watched, this is among the very best, both in terms of content and presentation. A terrific introduction to an intriguing place!
