Well researched and articulated. I learned a lot and enjoyed it!

This seminar was really well-organized--an absolute necessity for such a wide-ranging topic. Dr. Yantz used maps and drawings to support her photos and commentary on Pueblo/Navajo arts. I especially appreciated her attention to the importance of spiritual elements of the arts and architecture...while also including commercial aspects of the more recent arts. Although I knew some of the content from having traveled in this area and purchased some pieces, I feel more knowledgeable now. Definitely recommended for future travelers in New Mexico and Arizona.
Professor Yantz gives us a relaxed, very well-organized, and informative presentation. She clearly reflects her interest and knowledge of subject.
I have travelled extensively through the region, and thought I was quite knowledgeable, but I learned a lot! She was very clear and focused in her presentation and very informative. I heard a more in depth view of the composition of the world according to the Pueblo peoples and and I appreciated the in depth look at the pottery. I had not known where the Dine came from or the history attached to their moving into the area, so that was useful knowledge. All in all, a highly recommended presentation!
