With so many delicious foods and charming restaurants to sample, it would be easy to feel overwhelmed by Lisbon’s food scene. During our conversation, we will enjoy a virtual guide to the city’s best cafes, markets, and more. We’ll learn how to order a perfect Portuguese-style coffee and discover the best locations for street vendors and local restaurants.

Due to the city’s proximity to the Tagus River, there is an abundance of seafood and other local delicacies to choose from. Our local expert, Estela Mendes, will guide you through where to find the best pastel de nata (custard tarts), bifana (garlicky pork buns), ginginha (fruity liquor) and sardinhas (grilled sardines).

Led by a local licensed guide with years of experience, we’ll discover Lisbon’s must-try foodie destinations – and their remarkable historical context. Eager to travel with us in person? We would love to have you join us on an upcoming Savoring Lisbon Food Tour.
