How wonderful to see Murano glass created through its history. Plus having images of Venice interspersed in the program was terrific. Won't ever forget that Venice is shaped like a fist.
This was my first Context viewing. Loved it. Dr. Hirsh is very knowledgeable while making you feel you want to travel with her. The information given was wide ranging but easy to understand. Excellent! I learned a lot.
loved see all the styles of Murano glass along with some scenes from both Venice and Murano
Dr. Hirsh is thorough and explains so many different techniques. You can tell she is passionate about the arts and culture of Venice and wants you to get to experience it to the fullest.
Excellent presentation by Dr. Jennie. She covered so much and made it all come alive. Even if I never make it back to Murano, I learned so much about the history, the glass, the techniques, etc. that I am satisfied.
